Close contractor access to draft pricing

Dylan FordProduct

Contractors can see draft pricing on the new dashboard. Can we close that today?

Lead Dev

I will isolate the dashboard role check, the project invite path, and what a contractor inherits from the org.

Backend Specialist

The dashboard reads the org role, not the project role, so contractors inherit viewer access to drafts. The fix is running in a preview.

Randy EllisonSecurity

Keep the case where a project role widens an org role in the release checks.

Progress no longer depends on one developer's machine

Lead Dev and specialists keep working in governed cloud sandboxes your team can see, review, and continue.

More autonomous work, fewer collisions

Each specialist gets its own sandbox, branch, preview, and checks, so multiple pieces of work move at once without competing for one local environment.

Another engineer can pick up where you left off

Hand off the thread with the branch, preview, checks, review notes, and next step still attached.

Specialists can use the app while they build it

They open the working preview, click through flows, catch errors, and keep working inside the same cloud sandbox your team can inspect.

Different ways of working

Stay close to the decisions that matter, or let Lead Dev run the team without you.

Codespeed is built to work with agents in the workflows you prefer, with the intelligence to automatically switch between them as the work requires.

Closely Paired Building

Pair closely with Lead Dev

When you need to stay close, work with Lead Dev in threads. Plan, review, set the bar for quality and run quality checks and adversarial reviews using easy model switching with a single click.

# Why the system is the way it is.

Lives in your repo
Versioned with code
Knowledge far beyond code
Consumable by agents

Specialists are assigned Context Profiles so they can focus on the knowledge required for their domain.

Explore Context Profiles

Lead Dev interviews you about your goals and business metrics at onboarding

From day zero, Lead Dev reads the codebase and asks your team where the business is going, then turns both into knowledge every agent inherits. Lead Dev then continues to hone and craft this knowledge with you over time, delivering more valuable decisions for the business every day.

Stop re-explaining your business and architectural reasoning

If it isn't in a format your agents can read, knowledge can't be used by your AI workforce. Codespeed centralizes your company's brain in a format Lead Dev and your specialist team can use from day zero to build value.

Leverage business knowledge that extends far beyond code and tech

Every piece of knowledge is valuable to an agent, from business context to design thinking, brand guidelines, tone of voice, analytics, customer experience strategy, and everything in between. Give your agents the knowledge they need to understand who the customer is and what the business is trying to move.

Taste and quality are teachable and enforced far beyond classic agentic skills

Agentic skills were the early-stage solution to teaching agents. Codespeed's Knowledge Protocol extends far beyond these reusable primitives into highly specialized intelligence, carefully crafted and honed by your team of agents over time.

Production Workflow

How production-grade software gets made at AI scale.

Start with a conversation that goes far beyond architecture and into business needs, too

Talk through the customer need, business pressure, product feel, and technical path. Lead Dev turns the conversation into a spec your team can steer before code starts.

Adversarial reviews are part of the everyday workflow

Lead Dev checks assumptions, edge cases, standards, and high-stakes calls. When a decision needs another check, click and request a Second Opinion with quick select for any model anytime.

Security and quality run on deterministic controls

Work comes back checked against your Quality Gates and deterministic security checks, including deep provenance and reasoning behind decisions that show how and why work was governed by Lead Dev.

Specialists use the product before your customers do

Specialists use the product by simulating real users in the browser, find broken flows, and learn from what your team accepts, corrects, or sends back.

What Good Means

Teach your AI workforce what good means, and taste becomes infrastructure.

Your team's definition of what good work looks like is continuously translated into Codespeed as deterministic requirements that Lead Dev actually checks, not hopes and dreams.

Model routing

Optimize token spend for frontier model capability only where you truly need it.

Routing isn't just a single decision at the start of a thread. It's intelligent adaptation during planning, execution, and review, within model boundaries your organization and context profile set.

Eliminate frontier prices for work that doesn't need it

Don't pay frontier prices for work that can be executed by cheaper models. Let Codespeed both orchestrate the work and intelligently route the right model to the right work, so you pay for what you need and not what you don't.

Codespeed quality runs on deterministic controls

Codespeed knows the difference between a model saying the work is fine and a test proving it. Unmet requirements block the work from coming back, so cheaper routing never quietly becomes lower standards.

Deep orchestration and context routing already built in

Codespeed is built on deep orchestration tools led by Lead Dev alongside context profile routing that keeps agents focused. That foundation ensures our model routing is highly intelligent and precise.

Recursive Self-Improvement

Your AI workforce gets better every night.

Codespeed Dreaming gives your AI workforce what every intelligent system needs: time to consolidate what happened, decide what matters, and wake up better.

The human mind does some of its best work while we sleep. Memory settles, noise falls away, patterns surface, and the mind returns sharper.

Codespeed brings that rhythm into autonomous AI software engineering teams. After your specialists and Lead Dev build, review, investigate, and learn, the workforce sleeps on the work.

The result is a workforce with an inner life. One that learns what to remember, what to forget, and how to think with more clarity and focus for the next day.

A memory that doesn’t change the next run is just stored context. Dreaming turns it into judgment.

01

Keep what earned trust

The lessons your team stood behind become how specialists work tomorrow.

02

Let the noise fall away

What the work stops confirming loses its hold, so yesterday’s guesses don’t steer tomorrow’s decisions.

03

Wake up sharper

Specialists and Lead Dev return with clearer context, calmer judgment, and a firmer sense of your quality bar.

Always-On Workforce

Your specialist workforce continuously improving the business in the cloud.

Every specialist holds standing responsibility for part of your product and works it on its own cadence, with no laptop open and nobody waiting. Nothing runs until someone on your team approves the scope and the permissions.

Suggestions from domain specialists that move the business forward.

A Competitive Intelligence Analyst watches what rivals ship and what your customers start asking about, then proposes the work to close the gap rather than filing a report nobody acts on.

Noticed

Three accounts asked about scheduled exports the month a rival shipped them.

Proposed

The specialist proposes the smallest version worth shipping and why customers want it.

Built

A specialist builds it behind a preview your team can click through.

Your call

Your team decides whether to ship it, narrow it, or drop it entirely.

Launch faster

Work nobody had time to file gets proposed, scoped, and built while your team is on something else, then comes back ready to review rather than ready to explain.

Improve customer experience

Real User Simulation walks the product the way customers do, so a specialist finds the broken flow they would hit on a Tuesday and proposes the fix before EOD, and before anyone reports it!

Reduce customer-facing risk

A security specialist raises the dependency risk or auth drift it found on its own, as a scoped objective with a review path, rather than leaving your team to meet it in an incident.

Grow revenue

Real User Simulation follows the purchase path like a customer, so conversion friction comes back as a finding your team can turn into work.

Security At Scale

The speed of a startup. The governance of an enterprise.

Every specialist can work without asking permission first. Set the rules once in organization policy, and the workforce stays inside them whether or not anyone is watching.

Agents run in their own cloud workspace, not in yours

The workspace holds the branch, the preview, and the checks for that work alone, and nothing runs on your machines. Sensitive projects can narrow what it is allowed to reach.

CloudflareDirect Integration

Keep agents off your live Cloudflare services

Codespeed finds the D1 databases, R2 buckets, and Workers in your project and proposes them for protection. Once an admin protects one, a command that would change it stops before it runs, on a rule rather than a model's judgment.

NeonDirect Integration

Agents get a throwaway copy of your database

An admin approves one non-production branch to copy from, and Codespeed confirms that choice with Neon before it makes each copy. The copy expires on its own, and your Neon key stays on the backend.

GitHubDirect Integration

Your build pipeline and secret files are off limits

Editing a workflow is how an agent would escalate past every other control, so anything under .github/workflows and .github/actions is refused, along with private keys and env files. Pushes to the branch you ship from are blocked too.

Agents work with your systems without holding your keys

Credentials are encrypted and used from the backend, so the value never has to sit in an agent's environment. Opening an exception takes an owner, a reason, and an expiry, and key-shaped strings are stripped out of logs either way.

Risky actions come back for approval before they run

Ordinary work proceeds without asking. The actions you flag return for a decision first, and the ones you forbid stay blocked. The rule sits on the action, so it holds no matter which specialist does the work.

Skill scanning detects prompt injections and other risky instructions

A workforce that keeps learning has a supply chain like any other software. The scan is deterministic rather than a model's opinion, and anything it flags waits for a person to approve.

Stop all work with one switch

One admin action halts work across the organization or a single project. Threads, Change Sets, and review records stay intact, so you keep the full trail of what happened.

The velocity your devs want. The control your CISO needs.

Every covered action either proceeds inside the policy already in force, returns to your team with the work attached, or stops before anything changes. The rule sits on the action, so it holds whichever specialist picks up the work.

OffAskAuto

Policy result: Ask. The work returns with the decision and context attached.

FROM LARA CHELAK, FOUNDER

Collective intelligence is the new frontier

In 1962, the President of the United States stood in the Houston heat and told a country it was entering a new frontier, not the Old West of Houston lore, but outer space.

The best minds in the world were only beginning to undertake missions most people could hardly comprehend, yet the space program would soon give Americans moments of collective awe and humanity a shared horizon.

President Kennedy described the exploration of space as inevitable. Reaching it would require new knowledge, new forms of engineering, and above all, the courage to pursue “the unknown and the unanswered and the unfinished.”

He stood at midfield at Rice University speaking about machines that had not yet been built and a destination no human being had ever reached.

Just under seven years later, Apollo 11 reached the moon, and human beings stood on another world for the first time.
