Accessibility Statement
Last updated July 27, 2026
Codespeed is committed to making this website usable by people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of building the site rather than as a later correction, and we fix the barriers we find as we find them.
This statement covers the Codespeed marketing website. The authenticated Codespeed product is a separate surface with its own ongoing accessibility work, and it is not covered here.
1. Conformance Status
We measure this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the level referenced by most public-sector and enterprise accessibility requirements.
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that most of the standard is met and that some content does not yet fully conform. The gaps we know about are listed below.
2. Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with landmark regions and an ordered heading outline
- A skip link to the main content on every page
- Keyboard access to interactive elements, with visible focus styles
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative visuals hidden from assistive technology
- Descriptive link text, form labels, and error messages tied to their fields
- Reduced-motion support, so animated visuals settle when a visitor asks their system to limit motion
- Consistent navigation and page structure across the site
3. Known Limitations
We would rather name these than let a visitor discover them alone. We are working on each one.
- Secondary text contrast: some captions, labels, and list markers on marketing pages fall below the 4.5-to-1 contrast ratio Level AA requires for body text.
- Animated visualizations: several diagrams that explain the product convey part of their meaning through motion and color, and their text equivalents are still being written.
- Ambient background: the animated space background is decorative and continues to move on pages where a visitor has not requested reduced motion.
- Audit coverage: the site has not yet had an independent third-party accessibility audit or a full assistive technology test pass across screen readers.
4. How We Assessed This Site
The conformance status above comes from a self-evaluation carried out by the Codespeed team using automated checks and manual keyboard and structure review. We have not commissioned an external evaluation, and we will update this statement when we do.
5. Feedback
If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, tell us and we will treat it as a defect. Please describe the page and what happened, and include the browser and assistive technology you were using if you can.
Email accessibility@codespeed.ai. We aim to acknowledge every report within five business days and to tell you what we plan to do about it. If a fix will take time, we will offer another way to get the information or complete the task in the meantime.
