Founding Partnerships Lead

The initiative you own

You will build Codespeed’s partnership function by carrying a few consequential relationships from first thesis through shipped product, joint launch, adoption, and growth. Each one should make Codespeed more useful to customers and give both companies a reason to keep building together.

Why this role exists now

Codespeed becomes more capable when frontier models, cloud platforms, developer systems, security companies, and enterprise channels become part of the customer experience. These relationships now need an owner with the technical range, commercial judgment, and execution strength to turn senior alignment into something customers can use.

What success changes

At approximately six months

• Codespeed has a focused portfolio grounded in shared customer outcomes and clear ownership on both sides.
• A priority relationship has moved into a customer-visible product plan with an active build and adoption path.

At approximately twelve months

• Priority relationships have produced shipped product experiences that customers can use and understand.
• Joint launches, marketplaces, co-selling, or introductions have created measurable adoption, pipeline, revenue, or trust.

What the work requires

• Choose and own a focused portfolio across model, cloud, developer, security, and enterprise platforms.
• Build senior relationships and structure opportunities that earn investment from both companies.
• Turn shared intent into a customer-visible product experience with a clear adoption path.
• Shape launches through working product moments, technical storytelling, marketplaces, co-selling, and customer introductions.
• Carry each priority relationship through adoption, growth, executive alignment, renewal, and expansion.

The authority you hold

• You own the portfolio, relationship strategy, joint plans, operating rhythm, and the judgment to continue, reshape, or conclude a motion.
• You can originate and negotiate within approved economics. Product and Engineering own architecture, security, and build priority.
• The founder owns product strategy, company positioning, material commercial terms, and executive sponsorship for the most consequential relationships.

What makes someone exceptional here

• You have built product-centered partnerships in AI, cloud, developer tools, security, or enterprise platforms.
• You reason with engineers about product tradeoffs and carry the same opportunity into an executive room.
• Relationships you led produced something customers used and created measurable adoption, pipeline, or revenue.
• Your commercial judgment spans partner selection, negotiation, economics, legal coordination, and portfolio focus.

How you will work at Codespeed

You work directly with the founder and closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Partnerships, Legal, and partner teams. Codespeed keeps the opportunity, decisions, launch, and relationship history legible from first conversation through expansion.

Employment reality

All current roles are full-time and based in our New York office. During the process, we make the weekly cadence, cash compensation, equity, active benefits, relocation support, and visa posture explicit before any paid collaboration or offer.
